palm 修復

そんな訳で、palm desktop をインストールして遊んでいるうちに、 clie と sync できなくなっていることに気がついた。ドライバを上書きしてしまったようだ。
えぇとなんだっけな…、 palm desktop をインストールしてから missing sync で上書きするんだったかな、と再インストールをあれこれ試すが全然復旧しない。おかげで半日潰してしまった。

しかたないので地道に検索。するとvender ID と product ID を記述するだけでいいらしい。

なかなか system preference に USB device として見えてくれなかったが、なんとか ID を確認。 sync が成功するところまで復元。

missing sync って他に何の機能持ってたっけ？とドキュメント読んでみると iPhoto, iTunes の plugin か…。う〜む、がんばってインストールするか

と思ったら、インストール済みのがちゃんと生きてた。やれやれよかった
